Green Eagle Battery Storage is a project being developed by Spearmint Energy. Spearmint was launched by a team of American electric utility and energy industry veterans who were committed to bringing the benefits of battery energy storage to communities across the United States.

Our team of more than 50 electrical engineers, construction managers, project developers, transmission planners, and market experts works together to deploy battery energy storage in the places that need it.

 

We develop, build, own, and operate battery storage facilities with a focus on safety and professionalism at every step of the process. As an American company, we are dedicated to working in partnership with landowners, local government, and communities as well as creating good paying jobs and economic growth right here at home.

 

Spearmint owns and operates a 150MW/300 MWh BESS. We are developing over 20 projects, totaling over 10 GWh of capacity, across more than 10 states in 4 regions of the United States.

With offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Miami, Florida, Spearmint works to reduce grid volatility, increase system resiliency and help reduce pollution in a responsible and efficient way.
