Green Eagle Battery Energy Storage would have a capacity of up to 125 MW. The facility would be located on approximately 20 acres of private land outside of Brookston, Indiana in White County. The development process for Green Eagle is only just beginning and the project is expected to start construction in 2027.

 

The project site was selected to minimize visibility and environmental impact to the local community. Battery Energy Storage Systems use equipment that is approximately 10-12 feet tall, is fully contained, and does not require water or other public services.
